I looked around the Coast Guard Marina and sandbar area for Shorebirds - the only new additions I saw were a Western Willet and a Piping Plover that didn't have a band around it's throat - it also seemed unusally white. Other shorebirds include Black Skimmers, Sanderlings, Ruddy Turnstones, Semi Palmated Sandpipers and Plovers, Short Billed Dowitchers, Spotted Sandpiper as well as a continuing Common Loon and Black Scoter.
I walked over to Jones Inlet and found Ruddy Turnstones, a Black Bellied Plover and was surprised by the amount of Common and Least Terns on the sand along the inlet.
