Massapequa Lake: Ducks!
Great spot for ducks, also very scenic with the
foliage. Seen today within a half hour: Mallards, Black Duck,
Gadwall, American Wigeon, Ring Necked, Pintail, Lesser Scaup, Shovelers, Hooded
Mergansers, Coots, Pied Billed Grebes, Wood Ducks (around the island)
